I am thinking of using postive, bright colours for the costumes in my music video. And I also want the costume to be csual, so I want my actors to wear csual, simple ocostumes.

What have I learnt? 

I have found out that many artist chose black and white colour for the albums, some aritst chose postive, soft colour. I believe these colours are the colours that will attract the audience. Most albums are designed in a really simple way and the images are mainly medium shot, or close up.

• At the start of the video there are few people gossiping about Ariana.
• Then the music video started after they finsihes talking about Ariana for the intro.
• Many shots in her music videos.
• Many different locations, like highschool, room etc.
• The lyrics "thank u, next" means that Ariana is saying thank you to all her exs.
• There's a scene that has christmas theme to suite the month cuz she published this music video. at the end of November wich is near Christmas.
• At the start (intro) video uses many meduim shots. 
• It then uses many full shots when Ariana is in the video.
• It also has over the shoulder shots when Ariana is reading the book which has all her exs in it.
• When there's a group of people it uses a wide shots or full shots so that everyone could be in the video.  
•  Locations taken in this video is mainly in the highschool, and Ariana's bedroom. At the start of the video  0.00-0.38 it's at a highschool.
• The from 0.42-1.07 is in Ariana's bedroom.
• Then from 1.08 it goes back to highschool, and it shows that Ariana is walking with her freinds from the hallway.
• In 1.21 -1.41 the theme changed to a christmas theme amd 4 girls are dancing including Ariana. In my opinion this scene is introuduced because when the video was published, it was near christmas. 
• Over shoulder shots are used when Ariana is looking at her book list with the guys that she liked. This is trying to show the lists of guys she liked. 
• 2.07 to 2.47 it has the cheering scene with the cheerleader team. This could suggest that they are cheering to the poeple who's listening to this video, they could showing their support.

• The song's sound effect is really lound,virbated and clear.
•  For the intro you can hear Ava's one of the song 'Sweet but psycho'
• The video has some effect like quick black screen when filming Ava for the intro, this creates a scary, creepy theme to suit the location and the colour used in the video.
• The colour of the song mainly focuses in a blue theme.
• There's group dancing in the video.
• Many different locations in the video.
•  At the start the camera is filimg Ava in the mirrior, it was a meduim and close up shots.
•  It has rainbow reflection effect in the video at the start when Ava was looking at the mirrior while shw was singing, this create a magical,postive vibes in the video.
•  It has a full shot when filimg Ava and other people which is in the video. Like a froup dance. And wide shot when the video is trying to film the location of the video.
• There are many medium and full shots when it's filimg Ava.
• All the shots in the video isn't fixed, they move around like zoom in or zoom out. 
• The locations in this video in a highschool, with differnt location in the higgschool like classroom, hall way, sportground etc. 
• 0.06-0.30 Ava is singing alone, shes walking down the hall way, them she opened a locker facing the mirror singing, this create a gloomy, cold effect, because she's alone and the mirror reflect how she feels.
• 0.57-1.27 there's a group of people dancing, this could show the support, as it could mean that you are not alone anymore.
• 2.04-2.05 there are many people who looks really differnt this may trying to show that everyone is different.

• This love song lyrically tells the story of a woman, who despite having her heart broken again and again by her lover, still has feelings for him and wants to be with him.
• There's a classical volin music in the midle of the video for dew second
• There's different lighting effect in the video, (red,blue etc)
• The main location of the video is in a room and in a country side.
• The sound effect is clear, and chill.
•  There's a full shot of Selena at the start of the video then it slowly zooms to Selena.
• The video contains many lighting/ colour effect. Espiecally when the video is recording the party room the colour changes in the video.

• 1.46-1.48 has some effect that's made by the computer (filter). This  makes thevideo more interesting and it gives a magical feeling.
• 2.29-2.45 they are doing a group dance, this can show that everyone is supporting each other as they are doing everything together like they are dancing together.

What have I learnt? 
I have learnt that a website should have many information about the artist like pictures, videos, news etc. So that the audience could get to know them better. Videos and pictures are important, because this create a connection between the artist and the audience. A website should also look simple and easy to access with many useful information.

Pop music is described as a very commercial friendly memorable with either lyrics or vocals and instrument.

In the past popular pop artists includes The Beatles, Madonna, Elton John etc. These prove the success of pop, and it has a great impact in the  media nowadays, it inspires new artists.

Nowadays the most popular pop artists includes Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé
 etc. These artists create very creative, fashionable pop music.

Conventions of the music-

The song 'Back to you' by Selena Gomez. At the start it (intro) uses a classical music style, it uses violin. After the it has some sound like the record his and wind blowing sound. After that it has guitar music, and Selena is starting to sing. This created a very interesting intro by having many different background music. The song grandly turns to upbeats then at the end it goes back to slow and peaceful. The song is around 4-minute-long, which is the average length in most of the songs.

Conventions of the video-

In the video there's a full shot of Selena Gomez then it starting to zoom in to her to a medium shot and close up shot. The video used many effects, like colour changing. This creates a fashionable and creative style. The colour use in the video is really chill and relaxing as their outfit uses positive colour like orange. There are many medium and close up shot in the video which is used a lot in the music videos now, so that the audience can focus on the main characters and focus on their facial expression

What I have learnt-

I have learnt that I need a deep, full understanding of the pop music background to create the best music and video. And every music video must have a meaning in it to create a better understanding of the song.
